President of Community & Customer Engagement at Aquent, Susie Hall, recently joined Wayne Barringer from WBC Advisors on his, “Inside the Creative Studio” podcast. Susie has been instrumental in creating and growing Aquent’s, InsideOut, a community for visionary in-house design and operations leaders from high-profile brands. She has spoken with hundreds of leaders about the challenges they faced in 2020, including adjusting to teams working remotely and all of the issues that came with that change. Through the InsideOut Community events, Susie has learned how important it is for leaders to be part of the strategy discussions within their organizations. In order to succeed, they must move beyond being “order takers” and become agents of change who can help shape the vision for their teams and companies. Susie discusses the top skills required for operations leaders including persuasion, resilience, and impact. In addition, she stresses the importance of networking and collaboration internally and externally, in order to be successful.
