Some companies are making remote work the norm.. Productivity does not suffer, and when employees work remotely half the time, companies can save nearly $11,000 per employee a year. Aquent was featured in a recent Boston Globe article, exploring how companies are working remotely and investing the money saved into employee programs. With the savings they have invested in paying to equip their 720 employees' home offices and in monthly wellness webinars and team-building activities. In addition, as part of its corporate responsibility initiatives, Aquent is building four solar-panel arrays to offset the company's carbon emissions for the past 35 years.
