Companies that boosted benefits amid COVID-19

The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic sent employers across the country scrambling to put a work from home plan into place and keep employees safe. Some companies then stepped up with benefits, realizing their employees were going to need more support than ever. Aquent, a workforce staffing firm for marketing and creative talent, has stepped up a few times. The company offers health coverage and sick pay to contingent workers and recently decided to pick up all health insurance premiums for the holidays. For two consecutive pay cycles, Aquent's U.S. employees will see some extra money in their paychecks.
