Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), the global research and advisory firm focused on staffing and workforce solutions, recently announced that Aquent Founder and CEO John Chuang was named to its “Staffing 100 North America” list for 2023. Now in its 12th year, the annual list recognizes influential staffing leaders throughout North America who helped their businesses successfully emerge from one of the most difficult periods in recent world history. A profile of Chuang, who is receiving this honor for the fourth consecutive year, will appear in the January/February print and online editions of the Staffing Industry Review and on the list's custom website. The profile notes that, in 2022, Chuang led Aquent's effort to merge its talent and recruiting business with its Vitamin T brand to become Aquent Talent. It also states that Aquent remains at the forefront of talent innovation and that the company hopes to be the first in its industry to become carbon negative in 2023, eliminating its historic footprint by 2030. The profile salutes Chuang for Aquent's bold move to embrace the metaverse and cryptocurrency by creating a Metaverse Innovation Team and offering bitcoin as one of the many options in its 401(k) packages available to staff and all eligible talent.
