About the Role
We are seeking a visionary communications leader who will be pivotal in shaping the public perception of groundbreaking AI innovations. In this high-impact role, you will be the critical link between complex engineering advancements and broad external audiences, translating revolutionary technical concepts into compelling, accessible narratives. Your strategic storytelling will directly influence how the world understands and embraces cutting-edge AI technology, its vision, and its transformative impact on everyday life.
What You’ll Do
As a key driver of external messaging, you will:
- Orchestrate the development and execution of high-quality external content, including influential blog posts, dynamic social media updates, precise talking points, and comprehensive media briefing materials.
- Collaborate strategically with engineering, product, and cross-functional leadership to unearth, refine, and amplify impactful stories centered around artificial intelligence.
- Proactively build and nurture strategic relationships with leading AI reporters, tech journalists, and influential industry figures, positioning the company as a thought leader.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and an additional 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of direct professional experience specifically within technology communications.
- Demonstrated familiarity with key concepts in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and autonomous driving technology.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience thriving in the dynamic and fast-paced environment of a tech startup.
- Familiarity with the autonomous vehicle (AV) industry landscape and its regulatory frameworks.
