Aquent is partnering with a major Healthcare company to find a Senior Hybrid Experience and Content Designer for a Contract-to-Hire opportunity. You will take full “soup-to-nuts” ownership of key digital product initiatives from concept to launch, clearing project backlogs and driving Q1 product roadmap goals. Joining a lean, highly collaborative, and remote team, you will shape intuitive user flows and craft compelling content strategy across both native mobile app and responsive web experiences.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis (C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end experience design (UX) and content strategy for native mobile and responsive web platforms.
  • Translate complex concepts and user flows into clear, intuitive digital designs with exceptional, user-friendly copy.
  • Build, document, structure, and manage content assets within enterprise content management systems, specifically Contentful.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering, product, and content partners to establish scalable content architecture and coordinate smooth releases.
  • Own feature initiatives from initial concept through completion, participating in design critiques and content reviews.
  • Contribute to design and content strategies for next-generation digital initiatives, including AI-powered search tools.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of senior-level experience seamlessly blending Experience Design (UX) and Content Design/Strategy.
  • Proven hands-on expertise with enterprise-level Content Management Systems (CMS), with strong preference for Contentful.
  • Demonstrated track record of full end-to-end ownership across both web and native mobile application environments.
  • Expert proficiency in industry-standard design and project tools including Figma and Jira on macOS environments.
  • Robust portfolio showcasing clear examples of both visual UX design and end-to-end content strategy/writing.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, lean team environment across distributed U.S. time zones (Mountain, Central, Eastern).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within or adapting to regulated industry environments (e.g., Healthcare, FinTech).
  • Prior experience designing user experiences or content models for AI-powered search tools or features.
  • Familiarity with cloud code usage or technical design-to-development handover workflows.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $65 – $80/hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
