Are you a visionary designer ready to transform how consumers interact with groundbreaking new products? This 12-month engagement offers a unique opportunity to directly influence the unboxing experience, guiding users through assembly, play, and functionality with clear, captivating visuals. You’ll be instrumental in translating complex ideas into intuitive, engaging instructional guides and print collateral, ensuring every product launch is a seamless and delightful journey for the customer and reinforcing brand messaging with every touchpoint.
As a pivotal member of the creative team, you will drive the visual communication for product instructions and in-package collateral, ensuring clarity, engagement, and brand consistency. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and product understanding, playing a crucial role in the success of new product introductions. You will collaborate with diverse teams, lead creative projects, and innovate solutions that bring products to life for consumers.
**Your Impactful Responsibilities Will Include:**
* Design and execute compelling instructional guides and in-package print communications that clarify product assembly, operation, and play patterns.
* Conceptualize and present innovative design solutions that align with brand strategy and deliver exceptional play experiences and narratives.
* Lead the creative direction for visual assets, including directing photo shoots (model and product) and managing illustrators and external design resources.
* Develop a variety of in-package printed collateral, such as brochures, posters, cross-sells, and activity sheets, ensuring strong visual branding and effective marketing messages.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams, participating in project kick-offs, approval processes, and status meetings.
* Manage multiple design projects concurrently, from initial concept through execution, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
* Strategically delegate design tasks to internal and external resources, optimizing workflow and project efficiency.
* Operate within defined cost parameters and ensure all designs adhere to legal, licensor, and regulatory guidelines.
* Provide regular progress reports, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* Proven experience in graphic design, specifically with instructional guides and in-package print collateral.
* Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, design, and execute visually engaging print materials.
* Experience directing photo shoots and managing illustrators or external design vendors.
* Strong understanding of brand strategy and the ability to translate marketing objectives into effective design solutions.
* Excellent project management skills, including the ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and delegate effectively.
* Collaborative mindset with experience working effectively within cross-functional teams.
* Familiarity with cost parameters and adherence to legal, licensor, and regulatory requirements in design.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

* Background in the consumer products or entertainment industry.
* Experience with products requiring detailed assembly or operational instructions.
