What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a key advisor, clearly communicating engagement expectations and informing clients about crucial accounting, financial, and regulatory developments.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and completion of financial statement audits, managing budgets and taking an in-charge role as needed.
  • Train, supervise, and mentor audit associates and interns, providing consistent and constructive feedback to foster their growth.
  • Collaborate with your team to design innovative audit procedures, leveraging advanced audit technology and tools.
  • Conduct thorough research on complex accounting and auditing matters, meticulously documenting conclusions.
  • Act as a professional representative of our firm at recruiting and networking events, contributing to our talent acquisition efforts.
  • Continuously build and refine your technical and professional skills through comprehensive formal training programs.

Skills & Experience You’ll Bring – Must-Haves:

  • CPA certification or eligibility, demonstrating your commitment to the highest professional standards. 
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to support client engagements.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of two years of progressive public accounting experience, including significant in-charge auditing responsibilities.
  • Exceptional analytical, technical, and auditing skills, with proven proficiency in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and effective client and team interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple engagements and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong commitment to teamwork, agility, and the power of building robust professional relationships.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Exposure to automation and digitization tools within audit processes or other professional services environments.
  • Experience with team management and supervision beyond basic training, including performance evaluation and development.

Compensation: The target hiring compensation range for this role is between $89,250 and $115,000.
