Digital Product Designer

Overview

We are looking for a Digital Product Designer for a 5-month remote engagement starting in early January 2026. Your expertise will directly influence the intuitive design and functionality of cutting-edge hardware and software applications. You will be instrumental in crafting seamless and engaging user interactions, ensuring that every product delivers an exceptional experience. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your keen eye for detail and deep understanding of user behavior to drive the development of user-centric solutions. Your work will directly enhance product usability, mitigate human error, and translate complex technical requirements into elegant, accessible interfaces that delight users worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and modify prototypes to support the evolution of hardware and software applications.
• Develop comprehensive user profiles, focusing on human error control, display optimization, visual interaction, physical manipulation, and detailed task and objective analyses.
• Apply advanced software design and usability processes to investigate and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Provide expert product usability evaluation and support to cross-functional product development teams.
•  Conduct in-depth analysis and investigation of applications and systems, encompassing tactile methods, visual graphics, web interfaces, multimedia experiences, voice response systems, and conversational user interaction.
• Contribute to the development of design concepts and implementation strategies, offering critical input on user design considerations.
•  Produce detailed specifications outlining user requirements and internal structures for products currently under development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in creating, evaluating, and modifying prototypes for hardware and software applications.
•  Demonstrated ability to develop user profiles with an emphasis on human factors, including error control, display issues, visual interaction, and physical manipulation.
•  Strong understanding and application of software design and usability processes for technical problem-solving.
•  Experience providing product usability, evaluation, and support to development teams. 
• Proficiency in analyzing and investigating various application/system interfaces, including tactile, visual graphics, web, multimedia, voice response, and conversational user interaction. *
• Ability to assist in design concept and implementation, offering valuable input on user design considerations.
• Capability to produce specifications detailing user requirements and internal product structures.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $57.00 to $63.33 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location
