This is a US-based remote 7-month engagement with possible extension up to 18 months.

The main function of a Business Intelligence Analyst is to gather user requirements, design, develop, test and launch analytical solutions and daily functional support of all. We’re looking for a hands-on Power BI expert to turn complex data into high impact, interactive dashboards and data products that stakeholders use every day. You’ll own the end-to-end build: from modeling and performance tuning to UX polish, alerting/subscriptions, Copilot/Insights enablement, and (as appropriate) Power BI Agent (Preview) scenarios. You’ll partner with data engineering, analytics, and business owners to land trustworthy, fast, and beautiful experiences in production workspaces.

The team is working on campaign analytics for digital (web, email, and in-product) marketing campaigns. This role provides the opportunity to help create the tools that powers Consumer Marketing leadership in this revolutionary era of AI.

  • Iterative design/development/launch 60%
  • Collaboration with data engineers 20%
  • Requirements gathering & team communication on progress 20%

Responsibilities

  • Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
  • Gathers requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers
  • Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
  • Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
  • Supports one or more highly complex business processes
  • Works on multiple projects as a project team member
  • Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs

Required Qualifications

  • 8-10 years’ of relevant experience
  • Proven expertise in building highly visual and interactive Power BI dashboards and semantic models at production scale including advanced DAX, sourcing from variety of data sources.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience with presenting to stakeholders – translating ambiguous business questions into measurable, elegant analytical experiences.
  • Strong storytelling skills via data visualizations.
  • Sample Dashboards – please be prepared to provide sample dashboards you’ve created either after application or during an interview. The best sample dashboards are highly visually appealing with good usage of graphs and models that tell a story or answer a business question and have purposeful use of color
  • Knowledge of programming languages to comprehend reading code and basic functions
  • Ability to create business solutions that increase competitive advantage
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Project management skills to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines
  • Ability to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details
  • Ability to increase operating efficiency with high quality technical solutions
  • A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in connecting Adobe’s CJA and other data sources to Power BI. 
  • Experience productizing BI with alerts, subscriptions, Power BI Apps, and role appropriate workspace governanc
  • Hands on with Fabric (Lakehouse, Direct Lake, notebooks/pipelines where applicable
  • UX sensibility: layout, color, state, and narrative data design that delights non-technical user
  • Experience with digital marketing metrics for email, web, social and in-product channels
