We’re seeking a Freelance Digital Strategist with strong influencer management experience to support a major digital activation launching at the end of December. This role will work as part of a team of three digital strategists to plan, execute, and optimize influencer marketing programs and social content development for upcoming brand campaigns.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented strategist who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and excels at managing multiple timelines and deliverables in parallel.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of influencer marketing campaigns, including relationship management, content development, and activation tracking.
- Manage communication and logistics with creators and influencer partners to ensure deliverables are on-brand, on-message, and on-time.
- Collaborate closely with digital strategy, account, and creative teams to bring social activations to life across paid and organic channels.
- Maintain organized, up-to-date tracking documents and proactively flag risks or dependencies.
- Contribute to content planning and creative development to ensure social storytelling aligns with brand goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing campaign performance and engagement.
Qualifications
- Proven influencer management experience (agency or brand side) — must have managed creators through contracting, briefing, and execution.
- Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to manage parallel-path timelines and multiple stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of digital and social media strategy, influencer marketing best practices, and content performance metrics.
- Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and organized.
- Collaborative team player who can work independently with minimal oversight.
- Must not be currently working on another pet food or health brand.
Commitment
- Approx. 10–12 hours per week over a 3-month contract.
- Must be available to start before Thanksgiving and support campaign activation through the end of December.
