We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Event Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and optimization of virtual and in-person events. This part-time, remote role is ideal for a seasoned project manager who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys collaborating with multiple stakeholders, and can manage multiple projects on an ad-hoc basis. The ideal candidate brings a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences and ensures that every event supports business objectives and drives engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Execution

  • Design, coordinate, and execute a variety of events, including webinars, workshops, conferences, and partner briefings.
  • Manage end-to-end logistics: venue selection, vendor sourcing, budget tracking, attendee registration, and post-event follow-up.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and task assignments to ensure smooth execution.
  • Create engaging event marketing materials, including invitations, agendas, presentations, and promotional collateral.
  • Ensure each event aligns with strategic goals and delivers measurable impact.

Project Management & Collaboration

  • Lead cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product, and external partners, to deliver successful event outcomes.
  • Facilitate planning meetings, status updates, and post-event reviews to maintain alignment and accountability.
  • Apply project management best practices to manage scope, resources, risks, and timelines across multiple ad-hoc events.
  • Identify and resolve issues proactively to ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and at high quality standards.
  • Maintain clear documentation and communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Event Strategy & Performance

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop event concepts that support broader campaign goals and audience needs.
  • Implement targeted promotion strategies to maximize attendance and engagement.
  • Track event performance metrics, gather attendee feedback, and produce post-event reports with actionable insights.
  • Continuously refine event strategies based on data and stakeholder input to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in event project management, preferably in technology, professional services, or similar sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and event platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cvent).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into strategic improvements.
