Location: Primarily Remote with some hybrid / onsite work in/around LA office
Reports to: Founder & CEO
Month of November will be closer to 20 hours per week
Month of December and onward will ramp up to 40 hours per week
3-6 months contract with extension beyond that

Founded by Japanese-American creator and entrepreneur Alissa Miky, Misaky redefined luxury confectionery with its one-of-a-kind crystal candies — edible works of art inspired by Japanese craftsmanship. When it first launched, Misaky became a social phenomenon, combining mesmerizing visuals with ASMR-driven storytelling to build a global following of over 1.4M TikTok fans and 70K+ Instagram followers.
Now, Misaky is making its highly anticipated return — and we’re looking for a passionate, creative, and strategic Social Media Manager & Creator to help lead the brand’s next chapter.
About the Role:
This is a hybrid role that blends content creation and community strategy. You’ll concept, create, and manage content that drives awareness, engagement, and love for Misaky across social channels — with a particular focus on TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms.
You’ll partner directly with the founder and creative team to build a social presence that feels both luxurious and human, rooted in storytelling, Japanese artistry, and modern digital culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the social media strategy across TikTok, Instagram, and other key platforms.
Create and post high-quality content — video, photography, and storytelling moments that bring the brand to life.
Manage the content calendar, ensuring consistent, on-brand posting and community engagement.
Partner with the founder to concept ASMR, product, and lifestyle shoots that capture the brand’s signature look and feel.
Monitor analytics, trends, and performance data to optimize reach and engagement.
Oversee community management, responding to fans and creators in an authentic and elevated tone.
Collaborate with influencers, creators, and brand partners to amplify visibility.
Stay current on emerging social trends, sound formats, and platform updates to keep Misaky culturally relevant.
Who You Are:
A hands-on creator who’s comfortable shooting, editing, and posting social content.
Deeply attuned to TikTok and Instagram — you know how to identify trends and elevate them for a luxury brand.
A storyteller at heart, with strong instincts for visual aesthetics, pacing, and tone.
Experienced in managing social accounts for brands, especially in beauty, luxury, food, or lifestyle.
Obsessed with culture, craft, and quality. You believe in making content that feels meaningful — not just viral.
Organized, proactive, and collaborative — you thrive in a small, fast-moving team.
