You will be at the forefront of product design, translating conceptual directions into tangible, brand-right creations. **What You’ll Do**
* Create compelling, brand-right designs that align with conceptual direction and business strategy.
* Execute product designs with exceptional precision, speed, and attention to detail.
* Develop seasonal products, focusing on style, fit, and fabric innovation.
* Incorporate feedback effectively to refine and finalize designs.
* Research and interpret fashion trends and consumer needs to inform design choices.
* Conduct ongoing competitor research and trend analysis to identify new ideas and opportunities.
* Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional partners throughout the design process.
* Present design concepts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
* Produce detailed design sketches and prototypes, providing clear specifications.
* Develop comprehensive technical packs, emphasizing construction, drape, and finishing techniques to ensure accurate first prototypes.
* Maintain and update product information throughout the season, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
* Guide and inspire junior design talent, fostering their growth and development.
* Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships across teams.
* Ensure all design deliverables meet budget and timeline commitments without compromising quality.
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent practical experience.
* 3+ years of professional design experience within a comparable retail environment.
* Exceptional talent for creating original design sketches with speed and precision using Illustrator.
* Demonstrated proficiency in coloring lines within Illustrator.
* Strong understanding and practical knowledge of apparel technical packing and construction.
* Proven ability to develop successful product lines with a keen commercial fashion eye.
* Deep understanding of design principles, including fit, construction, and various fabrications.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Solid communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating design concepts clearly.
* Highly motivated, passionate, and results-oriented with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* Experience with InDesign.
* A true multi-tasker with a proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
* Demonstrated experience and passion for motivating and developing junior design talent.
* Flexible and creative problem-solver with a positive, energetic approach.
