Aquent Studios is lookign for a Motion Designer for a four week need starting next week! This will be fultlime hours, 40 hours a week, 100% remote but must be able to work PST Hours
Motion Designer
Aquent Studios is looking for a Motion Designer to support deliverables for the Consumer Marketing Organization Brand Creative Lab. The Motion Designer creative role is to contribute to planning, creating, refining, and delivering Consumer Brand marketing assets to support our public relations, retail, and marketing campaigns, events and seasonal need. The following provides details and scope of the project requirements:
Details
- Create consumer brand marketing and social assets focused informative yet culturally relevant connections to our products/businesses.
- Create animated UI assets based on current Operating System builds and direction from executives, product marketing, retail, PR, creative directors, art directors, and producers.
- Create templates to streamline production processes and ensure product accuracy/ease of use for external animators using the templates.
- Create video content as well as 2-3-minute full scale videos from concept to completion for social channels/retail environments/internal events.
- Video formatting and compression for multiple platforms/video screen formats. After Effects is a requirement.
- Brainstorm new ideas to match concepts and creative direction.
- Participate in creative asset reviews for design executions not originating from the Brand Creative Lab.
Candidate Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Brand Creative Lab Art Directors & Producers to assist with the production of marketing asset creation for video, print concept, marketing campaign, and internal communication assets.
- Take initial direction from Creative Director, Art Director, team designers and producers for short notice reactive design tasks and project reviews.
- Complete projects with little guidance after initial direction via organizational and time management skills.
- Contribute to the creative process by proactively involving yourself with all aspects of Lab creative asset development from brainstorming, concept expansion, sketching ideas, storyboarding, draft assets, review, and delivery of final print ready assets.
- Other duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- 5+ years motion design experience designing and editing creative materials on an agile team in a fast-paced reactive development environment. Must have the ability to juggle multiple projects and stay organized.
- Strong technical knowledge and proficiency with design programs including Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects, and Maya.
- Must be able to take direction and feedback.
- Excellent communication skills; can represent ideas and concepts effectively.
- Exceptional organizational and file management skills.
- Familiarity with Windows, Surface, Copilot, and Android devices and their user interfaces.
- Detailed oriented design skills with clear, concise, and specific follow through on all action items resulting from meetings and/or directions from the studio producers, creative directors, and art directors.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to quickly come up to speed with new projects adjust to short notice project completion requests.
The ability to balance multiple projects with short deadlines is a must. Strong interpersonal communication and cross-team collaboration skills with the proven ability to work with, and build win-win relationships with creative teams (e.g. graphic and video production artists), technical people (e.g. developers), and producers alike. When conflicts occur, you provide quick examples to support questions without delaying project timelines.

Other Requirements
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45to $55/HR Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
