Rates vary by location:

  • Culver City – $45-$47.53/hr
  • Cupertino – $50-$52.99/hr
  • NYC –  $50-$52.37/hr

Our client is seeking a skilled Content Editor to collaborate with a Talent Program Manager in developing clear, concise, and user-friendly career frameworks that effectively communicate career progression pathways. Working in partnership with the Talent Program Manager within the Talent Programs team, you’ll play a crucial role in refining and polishing career frameworks throughout their development. You will leverage your expertise in copy editing, grammar, and style to ensure content is clear, concise, user-friendly, and effectively communicates key information. You should be comfortable working independently and proactively to execute assigned tasks, offering suggestions, receiving feedback, and collaborating with stakeholders.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Edit career framework drafts for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and clarity, ensuring they are easy to understand
  • Consult on style and tone to ensure consistency and alignment with company voice and editorial standards
  • Provide suggestions and recommendations for improving overall flow and structure of content
  • Incorporate feedback from the Talent Program Manager to improve overall quality of content Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional copy editing and content development experience
  • Industry experience in talent development, human resources, or organizational development preferred

Nice to have

  • Experience working with career frameworks or career growth content
  • Familiarity with career framework concepts and talent development terminology
  • Content strategy and information architecture for user-focused materials
