**Your Impact**
As a key contributor to our security analytics and operations team, you will be instrumental in the delivery and continuous improvement of critical data security processes. You will dive deep into process analysis, identifying opportunities to enhance our data loss prevention and unstructured data management capabilities, directly strengthening our security posture and ensuring the robust protection of sensitive client and business data. Your work will directly support the implementation of best practices, transforming how we secure information across all its states.
**What You’ll Do**
* Review and refine existing security process documentation, collaborating with data protection owners to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to best practices.
* Proactively manage and respond to daily operational events related to data loss prevention and unstructured data, directly contributing to our real-time security response and defense.
* Regularly update and draft comprehensive process documents for various data protection initiatives, maintaining detailed and evolving records.
* Effectively communicate data security requirements to data owners and key stakeholders, fostering understanding and compliance.
* Identify, analyze, and drive the resolution of operational process issues, ensuring continuous improvement and bolstering our overall security resilience.
**Must-Have Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related field.
* 1 – 2 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience.
* Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
* Exceptional analytical skills, with a proven ability to foresee challenges and engineer effective solutions.
* Strong organizational capabilities and a meticulous approach to maintaining detailed, evolving documentation.
* A track record of building and nurturing trusted relationships with peers and cross-functional teams.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications**
* Familiarity with core data protection concepts, including Data Loss Prevention, encryption, data at rest vs. data in motion, and unstructured vs. structured data.
* Relevant professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, or equivalent.
