Aquent Studios is looking for a highly experienced visual designer with retail experience to assist us in providing high-impact design services to one of our top clients in the technology sector. The visual designer will help provide creative direction, visual design execution, and project management services for our client’s core retail and e-commerce platforms (retail store, third-party retail, and CRM). The goal is to deliver creative excellence that is simple, confident, delightful, and aligned with the client’s business objectives.

- The project requires you to understand, track, and manage a series of structured tasks, activities, and deliverables in order for the work to be executed.
- This project includes managing timelines, cross-functional coordination, and being the voice of truth to keep everyone else on the right path.
Project Insights:
This project will need to provide some creative leadership and guide agency creatives. This includes oversight of updates to and new product launches for retail stores, third-party retail and CRM. Your team will be responsible for visual design talent and advocating for creative excellence and aligning to our brand attributes (Simple, Confident and Delightful).
This project is cross-functional and requires partnership with various orgs for consultations, alignment, and best practices working with teams like UX, Engineering, Go-To-Market Strategists and external partners.
Scope & Key Deliverables
- High-Fidelity Visual Design:

Creative direction and hands-on design across the retail site.
- Design and execution for all client product updates, rebrands, and sustainment pages.
- Ideation and visualization of product, brand, and e-commerce experiences.

- Strategic Leadership:

Develop a design vision based on research, data, and brand strategy.
- Provide creative leadership and guidance for all external agency partners.
- Ensure all design work reflects a deep understanding of UX/UI principles.

Structured management and tracking of all design tasks and deliverables.
- Cross-functional coordination and alignment with UX, Engineering, and Go-To-Market teams.
- Regular reporting and presentations to stakeholders.

Required Expertise & Software
- Mandatory: Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (CS).
- Highly Desired: Capability in AfterEffects/motion design.
- Core Skill: Ability to deliver data-driven design approaches and solutions.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $70/hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
