Project Overview

We are seeking two highly skilled and motivated Senior Product Designers to join the ServiceNow University team for a focused, fast-paced engagement. You will be instrumental in developing three critical, new user experiences tied to major product milestones (Sales Kickoff and Knowledge). This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge features that directly leverage agentic AI to transform our customer education and credentialing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Stack Design Execution: Take ownership of the design process from ideation through high-fidelity UI. This includes conducting wireframing, user flows, interaction design (UX), and detailed visual design (UI).
  • AI Feature Design: Focus on integrating agentic AI into learning experiences, specifically designing the functionality and interface for features like the My Learning Guide chat companion.
  • Strategic Alignment: Work closely with the core ServiceNow University design team to ensure new experiences are seamless, adhere to the established ServiceNow Design System, and align with the overall platform strategy.
  • Research Integration: Rapidly consume and interpret user research findings and data to inform design decisions, ensuring solutions are user-centric and address known pain points.
  • Deliverable Ownership: Produce polished, presentation-ready design artifacts for key stakeholders and collaborate with engineering for implementation readiness.

Core Projects

You will be focused on designing the next generation of experiences for ServiceNow University, including:

  1. My Learning Guide: Designing the interaction model and interface for the AI-powered companion box that assists users with learning directly within the platform.
  2. SimStudio: Designing the user experience for a complex training product where an AI agent guides the user through the process of building other agents.
  3. Universal Profile/Credentialing: Developing the concept and execution of a digital blueprint or resume experience that showcases a user’s official ServiceNow credentials and certifications.

 

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong focus on design systems and component libraries. Your portfolio should demonstrate your ability to distill complex problems into elegant solutions.

  • Technical Familiarity: Experience with front-end technologies such as JSON, React, Lit, and CSS. You should also have an understanding of design tokens.

  • Tools: Proficiency in Figma and Miro.

  • Soft Skills: A strong ability to communicate and influence. We need someone who can “speak both languages”—design and engineering—and make intelligent suggestions rather than simply pushing back. You should be proactive and able to manage complexity in a fast-paced environment.

  • Project Scope: A strong understanding of the full design lifecycle, from concept to launch. You’ll work on both visual and UX aspects for various websites, ensuring the design system works for desktop and mobile platforms.
