Aquent Studios is looking for a detail-oriented, CMS-proficient content author. The team is responsible for reviewing and maintaining content in CMS systems. Talents will be responsible for image selection, copy placement, component navigation, and collaborating with colleagues regularly. This role will be accountable for the assigned webpage production. As there may not be a thorough QA on all assets due to the volume of assets, it is critical that the Talent has a high attention to detail and the ability to self-QA the work.
Job Responsibilities:
- You will be trained to accurately review content from the Client’s Salesforce ticketing system to the CMS environment via copy/paste, image upload, and other methods
- Decipher web content and apply a set of guidelines to judge how to migrate content into the CMS environment
- Self-manage an assigned list of pages against a deadline
- Quality-control your own and peer-migrated content, including content, links, and imagery
- Attend routine meetings and report on progress and roadblocks
- Raise and document issues or questions about content to the Project Leadership
Skills and experience required:
- Understanding of how web pages work, data hierarchy, and link hierarchy relationships
- Must have Content Management System (CMS) experience
- Comfort researching and working with peers to find solutions for unforeseen obstacles
- Demonstrate ability to quickly learn new software tools and applications
- Thorough and accurate in accomplishing tasks
- Experience working in spreadsheets or data sets
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable with self-managed, independent work requiring limited oversight
- Collaborative, team-oriented personality with a strong sense of initiative
- Ability to own work from concept to completion and take accountability for results
- Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills
- Very high attention to detail
- Nimble and handles changes in direction with a good attitude
- An understanding of HTML is a plus (but not required)
- Proficient with computers and ability to assemble PC with monitors and keyboard in a remote setting
- Proficient with MS Office tools and Google Suite
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $24/hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
