As a key contributor, you will own the strategic execution of seasonal assortments for a vital youth footwear category within our direct digital channels. You will be instrumental in adapting and curating consumer-right assortments, leveraging historical data, analytics, and real-time market feedback to inform future strategies while optimizing current performance. Your work will directly impact how products come to life for our consumers, ensuring we deliver the right product, at the right price, in the right place, at the right time.

**What You Will Do:**
* Lead the seasonal assortment planning for a key youth footwear category within direct digital channels.
* Develop and refine consumer-centric assortment plans across multiple seasons, informed by deep market understanding and competitive analysis.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure assortment plans meet consumer demand and strategic objectives, coordinating across various product segments and categories.
* Participate in seasonal buy reviews and in-season trading, influencing actions to optimize growth and manage product lifecycle.
* Manage assortment building, system entries, allocation strategies, and planning processes.
* Drive end-to-end strategies for your respective business unit, demonstrating ownership and leadership through collaboration with peers.
* Utilize strong retail acumen and analytical skills to bring a consumer-first perspective to the team and business.
**Who You Will Work With:**
You will collaborate closely with a diverse group of internal partners including fellow merchants, buyers, and cross-functional teams within our direct-to-consumer organization. This includes digital and stores buying, consumer merchandising, planning, allocation, visual merchandising, brand marketing, finance, operations, and insights/analytics teams. Your role will rely on comprehensive business reporting, encompassing quantitative and qualitative metrics on sales, inventory, and consumer behaviors, to inform your strategic decisions.
**Required Skills & Experience:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a combination of relevant education and product-related roles, OR 5 years of additional experience and training in consumer product merchandising, product creation, retail, multi-brand, or digital environments.
* Demonstrated consumer product merchandising experience, specifically with footwear or apparel.
* Strong understanding of common retail and/or digital profit-based metrics such as sell-through, margin, average unit retail (AUR), units per transaction (UPT), and others.
* Proven ability to contribute to and drive strategic thinking into actionable plans.
* Proficiency in building consumer and data-informed merchandising strategies and assortments.
* Comfortable speaking and presenting in large forums.
* Ability to critically analyze business trends and macro consumer trends to drive immediate action.
* Project management experience.
