Aquent has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Pharmacy Technician in Canton, MI!

This position is 100% on-site.  For this reason, we will only consider candidates who can comfortably commute to our client’s location in Canton, MI.  This position does not have a set schedule, so you must be flexible and be willing to work at various times.

In addition, to be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position
  • Have a current Pharmacy Technician’s License for the State of Michigan and be able to provide either a copy or screenshot of your license.

**Here’s how you’ll make an impact:**

* Take ownership of inventory management, meticulously tracking stock levels and proactively communicating supply needs to relevant departments to prevent disruptions.
* Play a key role in onboarding and developing new team members, sharing your expertise and contributing to a highly skilled and cohesive department.
* Serve as a primary point of contact for complex inquiries and challenging situations, providing expert support and swift resolution for escalated issues.
* Contribute to maintaining excellence by conducting quality monitoring and audits, ensuring adherence to rigorous standards.
* Engage in special projects that drive continuous improvement and innovation within the department.
* Step up to provide temporary backup to leadership, demonstrating your leadership potential and versatility.
* Process orders efficiently and accurately, utilizing advanced fulfillment systems to prepare and distribute prescription medications.

**What you’ll bring to the team:**

* A High School diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED.
* An active pharmacy technician license or certification, as required by the state Board of Pharmacy.
* 3-5 years of experience providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, consistently meeting quality standards and evaluating satisfaction.
* Basic proficiency in operating systems and common office software programs.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities, allowing you to communicate diplomatically and handle confidential information with discretion.
* The ability to perform repetitive motion tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. (pounds), with or without accommodations.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $19.17 to $21.30 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
