Photo Producer IV

Overview

Our clients photography team seeks a Photo Producer to oversee photoshoots and licensing commissions for on-product experiences for some of their organization’s most visible applications. This role works closely with the Lead Producer and Art Directors to take photoshoots and supporting motion capture end-to-end, from project brief through shoot capture and post-production. The ideal candidate has extensive experience across a variety of productions and the ability to oversee multiple productions at once. The role is also responsible for the oversight of high volume photography licensing commissions which requires exceptional project management and organization skills. The candidate should be an expert in staying calm under pressure, possess strong communication, project, and time management skills, and have a proven ability to work collaboratively with others — in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee and manage photoshoots and motion capture productions from brief to post-production, ensuring seamless execution.
• Lead high-volume photography licensing commissions, applying exceptional project management and organizational skills.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external partners, expertly negotiating contracts and fees with photographers and their agents.
• Translate creative visions into cost-effective production approaches, demonstrating strong budget management skills.
• Manage project timelines, workflows, and cross-functional meetings, fostering strong partnerships with internal and external teams.
• Maintain an organized and systematic approach to document filing and archiving for all productions.
• Contribute as a proactive and positive team player in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• A profound passion for photography, coupled with extensive knowledge of photographers and global photo agencies across various scales (unit, editorial, and commercial), with a strong commitment to diverse representation.
• Proven ability to independently guide productions from initial concept through to final delivery.
• Hands-on experience producing a wide variety of photo and motion shoots for diverse purposes.
• Expertise in contract and fee negotiation with photographers and their agents.
• Excellent skills in budget management and a deep understanding of how to translate a creative vision into a cost-effective production approach.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, partnering effectively with internal and external teams to meet set timelines and workflows.
• An organized and systematic approach to document filing and archiving.
• A proven track record of staying calm under pressure, coupled with strong communication, project, and time management skills.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant photo production experience.
• Ability to provide and discuss a visual portfolio of work at a Producer level or higher.
• Availability for occasional travel.
