Bring passion and dedication to your work, and there’s no limit to what you can achieve. Our client is seeking an experienced Podcast Program Manager to join the Services Integrated Media team. In this role, you’ll help define the program and processes, collaborate with in-house media, analytics, creative, and strategy teams to execute and optimize paid media campaigns. You’ll serve as a point of contact for internal and external partners on podcasts, vodcasts, streaming radio, TV and OOH campaigns.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, process and data-driven with expertise in planning, execution, and optimization of audio advertising campaigns. You will activate placements across podcasts, streaming platforms (Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, etc.), and terrestrial radio. A strong understanding of the audio landscape, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for emerging formats and trends are essential. As a Podcast Program manager, you’ll be hands on the end-to-end tactical planning and execution of cross-channel paid media campaigns across Services.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for overseeing the tactical planning, launch, management and optimization of Services media campaigns. You will be expected to demonstrate clear and thorough understanding of traditional and digital advertising, while delivering strategic campaigns to successfully hit directed KPIs. Working with the channel managers and analytics to validate campaign performance through strategic testing will be vital to creating successful Audio and Video campaigns. Success requires expertise in both traditional and digital advertising, strong tactical execution skills, and a commitment to continuous learning across the evolving audio/media landscape.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ yrs of experience at a media agency/in-house agency group with traditional and digital media buying processes, production and trafficking
  • Deep understanding of paid media and the process by which Audio ads are produced and brought to life in media
  • Hands-on experience managing podcast and streaming audio campaigns
  • Strong grasp of tactical campaign execution: media buying, production and execution, buy types and production methodologies
  • Functional understanding of ad serving and 3rd party validation partners (i.e. CM, DoubleVerify, WhiteOps)
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Spotify Ads Studio, AdsWizz, Megaphone, Acast, iHeartMedia, and programmatic audio buying tools
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to clearly articulate media impact through a performance lens
  • Understanding of the ad tech and martech landscape; experience working with tech platforms for various buying and attribution needs
  • Critical thinker with ability to identify technical workarounds
  • Knowledge of brand safety, ad verification tools, and compliance in audio environments

Nice to have:

  • Experience on the sell side implementing advertising programs through direct and programmatic channels
  • OOH/DOOH production and activation
  • Established vendor and partner relationships
  • Broad vertical experience a plus (Services LOBs span entertainment, finance/payments, apps, music, podcasts, books, sports, gaming, etc.)

Education & Experience:

  • BS/BA degree required
  • 5-7+ years of advertising media experience required
