Role Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Education Consultant to support the development of innovative, AI-powered learning tools. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional product teams to ensure educational solutions are grounded in learning science best practices and resonate with real-world teaching needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to product teams on educational design improvements based on learning sciences
- Evaluate AI tutoring systems and digital learning tools from an educator’s perspective
- Support prototyping of new features, including prompt writing and editing
- Ensure products reflect high-quality pedagogical principles and effective learning outcomes
- Advocate for educator and learner needs throughout the product lifecycle
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience teaching or tutoring high school or college-level English / Language Arts (reading & writing)
- Proven track record in developing or improving K–12 edtech products
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Education, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong writing and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency with GSuite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced understanding of learning sciences or pedagogical frameworks
- Familiarity with AI technologies, prompt engineering, or large language models
- Experience consulting with edtech product teams or startups
- Professional development facilitation for educators
- Use of generative AI tools to enhance learning design and productivity
