We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Technical Design Professional** to join a dynamic team, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the perfect fit and comfort of their product lines. As a Technical Design Professional, you will be at the heart of the product development lifecycle, guiding garments from initial concept through to final production. You will collaborate closely with design teams, vendors, and factories to translate design intent into precise technical specifications. Your expertise will ensure that every product meets rigorous fit, comfort, and quality standards, contributing directly to the success and market leadership of a renowned brand.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and execute the technical design process from initial development stages through to final fit approval.
  • Analyze and evaluate garments to establish precise fit specifications, ensuring consistency and quality across product lines.
  • Develop comprehensive technical specifications and effectively communicate fit requirements, adjustments, and corrections to vendors and factories.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing partners to make necessary adjustments, preserving the integrity of approved designs while monitoring quality and cost targets.
  • Ensure that all products align with established fit quality standards, manufacturer capabilities, and cost parameters.
  • Contribute to the mentorship and guidance of junior technical design talent, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of dedicated experience in technical design, specifically within intimate apparel and clothing.
  • Demonstrated experience participating in or leading product fittings, with the ability to provide detailed fit comments and pattern correction guidance.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Excel and Adobe Illustrator.
  • A proven track record of developing and communicating detailed fit comments and technical packs.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing specific product types you have worked on, along with examples of detailed fit comments and tech packs.
