Job Description:

• You’ll be the pulse for the presence in real-time political social conversations.
• You have worked on political campaigns/ public policy initiatives and know how to engage audiences online on key issues.
• As a subject-matter expert in the online cultural and political landscape, you’ll inform our proactive and reactive rapid-response efforts.
• This includes identifying high-stakes moments before they trend and collaborating with a cross-functional team to engage in conversations in an authentic and impactful way.
• You’ll do this across a range of content, from punchy, assertive posts, replies, and memes to short-form video.
• Data-driven, you’ll also analyze past performance to provide insightful look backs on metrics, trends, and outliers, and provide essential look aheads on what’s coming next.

Top Skills:

• Experience with Youtube and social media
• You have worked on political campaigns/ public policy initiatives and know how to engage audiences online on key issues.
• You live social media and are a subject-matter expert in the online social / political.
• You can track upcoming sensitive moments and rapidly identify unexpected, high-profile posts before they start trending.
• You can collaborate on concise, engaging proactive and reactive social comms, memes, and short-form videos, provide look backs on metrics, trends, and outliers, and look aheads on what’s coming next

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4-7 years of experience in a digital marketing, social media, or communications role.
• Experience with project or program management in a creative or content-generating environment.
• Demonstrable ability to identify and analyze complex social media trends and online discourse.
• Experience creating and executing social media content and campaigns.
