Join a renowned fashion retailer, partnering with Aquent, and make your mark as a Senior Print Stylist. You’ll shape the visual narrative of emerging categories, influencing trends and driving business strategy through compelling color and print designs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to blend creativity with commercial acumen, impacting how customers experience fashion.
As a Senior Print Stylist, you’ll be the creative force behind color and print stories for key product categories. Collaborating closely with Concept, Design, and Raw Materials teams, you’ll develop prints and novelty materials that align with seasonal concepts and fabric programs. From initial concept to final production, you’ll guide the print development process, ensuring brand consistency and commercial viability. You’ll also mentor junior talent, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop brand-right color and print stories, from concept to production, aligning with seasonal concepts and fabric programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create prints and novelty raw materials that enhance the overall product assortment.
  • Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create print artwork, considering technical limitations and product specifications.
  • Recolor print artwork and develop colorways for novelty raw materials using industry-standard software.
  • Prepare and present print presentations to Design teams and cross-functional partners, effectively communicating your vision.
  • Partner with Print Technologists and Raw Materials teams to ensure print execution within technical parameters.
  • Review print strike-offs and collaborate with Design teams to ensure accurate layout and execution.
  • Maintain print charts and communicate changes to cross-functional teams throughout the print development process.
  • Stay current on color and print trends through research and market analysis.
  • Manage and mentor junior talent, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion/Textile Design or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of Color & Print experience in a comparable retail environment, preferably in related categories
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional color and print sensibility, with a strong understanding of fashion trends
  • Proven ability to deliver commercially successful color and print stories in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert knowledge of fabric printing, print techniques, and repeat layouts
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Excellent prioritization, time management, and problem-solving abilities

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of NedGraphics or similar software
