As a Content Standards & Practices Lead, you will be immersed in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to navigate the evolving landscape of content creation. Your analytical skills and understanding of legal and ethical considerations will be essential in ensuring that all programming aligns with internal policies and industry best practices. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the development of a comprehensive rating system, directly impacting how content is classified and accessed by users.

Responsibilities:

  • Review scripts, rough cuts, and final edits of projects, flagging potential issues related to language, violence, sexual content, advertising standards, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Minimize legal risk and protect the network’s brand while allowing creative teams as much freedom as possible.
  • Assist in setting a rating system so that programming and product teams know how to classify content and what titles might require age-gating.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on content standards and practices.
  • Stay up-to-date on evolving legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines related to content creation and distribution.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in content review and compliance.
  • Deep understanding of legal and ethical considerations related to content creation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
