Partnering with Aquent, you’ll join a dynamic team where your contributions directly influence financial reporting, corporate expenses, and international operations. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. You’ll collaborate with business partners, manage key financial areas, and drive process improvements. This position offers a blend of hands-on accounting and strategic leadership, providing valuable experience in a fast-paced, global environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end general ledger close processes in accordance with US GAAP/IFRS.
- Oversee financial activities for specific business areas, including international entities and tax compliance.
- Prepare financial information and analysis to support management decision-making.
- Manage foreign exchange revaluation processes.
- Contribute to system implementation projects.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, implement controls, and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with external auditors.
- Lead and contribute to ad-hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 7+ years of related business experience.
- Advanced Excel skills (PIVOTs, SUMIFs, VLOOKUPs, macros).
- Experience with SAP.
- Strong strategic, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with IFRS accounting principles and financial statements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and build cross-functional relationships.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- CPA / CA / MBA
- Retail industry experience
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $94.26 to $104.73 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
