Accounting Manager

As an Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. You’ll collaborate with business partners, manage key financial areas, and drive process improvements. This position offers a blend of hands-on accounting and strategic leadership, providing valuable experience in a fast-paced, global environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end general ledger close processes in accordance with US GAAP/IFRS.
• Oversee financial activities for specific business areas, including international entities and tax compliance.
• Prepare financial information and analysis to support management decision-making.
• Manage foreign exchange revaluation processes.
• Contribute to system implementation projects.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, implement controls, and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with external auditors.
• Lead and contribute to ad-hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 7+ years of related business experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (PIVOTs, SUMIFs, VLOOKUPs, macros).
• Experience with SAP.
• Strong strategic, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with IFRS accounting principles and financial statements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and build cross-functional relationships.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• CPA / CA / MBA
• Retail industry experience

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $94.26 to $104.73 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
