This role is 100% remote.  We will only consider candidates who currently live within the United States.  

In addition, to be considered for this role, you must:

• Be able to work on a W-2 basis.  C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this role.

As a Senior Data Scientist partnering with Aquent and a Fortune 500 healthcare leader, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, developing agentic AI frameworks that will directly impact strategic decision-making and growth projections. This role offers a unique opportunity to design and implement advanced reasoning models, leveraging the power of large language models (LLMs) like OpenAI and Gemini. You will be instrumental in building multi-agent systems that analyze complex data, generate strategic insights, and ultimately enhance bid strategies and growth projections.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, build, and refine agentic frameworks using cutting-edge LLMs to automate growth projection workflows.
• Design multi-agent systems capable of integrating diverse data sources, conducting stepwise reasoning, and synthesizing strategic intelligence for bid-related scenarios.
• Develop robust pipelines for data ingestion and transformation, enabling agents to operate with contextual awareness and domain expertise.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to encode domain knowledge and strategic heuristics into agent behaviors.
• Conduct systematic back-testing and scenario analysis, benchmarking agentic outputs against actual results and internal projections.
• Communicate complex findings and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards when deploying models in production environments.
• Stay at the forefront of advancements in agentic AI, generative models, and LLM orchestration.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in data science or machine learning, with expertise in agentic AI systems, LLMs, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and relevant libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, langchain, transformers).
• Experience building and deploying agentic frameworks for real-world analytical applications, preferably in healthcare or insurance.
• Strong understanding of public healthcare datasets and business intelligence platforms.
• Ability to translate strategic requirements into technical agent behaviors and workflows.
• Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to support business strategy through advanced analytics.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $57.83 to $64.26 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
