Business Intelligence Engineer

Overview

Aquent has an exciting opportunity for a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer!

This position is 100% remote.  We will only consider candidates who currently live in the United States and are willing to travel 2-3 times/year.

In addition, to be considered for this role, you must:

• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
• Be able to work on a W-2 basis.  C2C and 1099 are not permitted for this role

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust business intelligence solutions using tools like Power BI and Power Apps.
• Leverage Python for diverse projects, including web scraping, NLP, Generative AI, and data analysis.
• Analyze complex datasets from internal and external sources to extract actionable insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective reporting and analytical solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to decision-makers, influencing strategic direction.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of advanced analytics techniques, including NLP and Generative AI.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 or more years of technical experience in analytics OR Master’s degree and 1 or more years of experience
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI)
• 1+ year of experience using Python for web scraping (Selenium), NLP, Generative AI, and data analysis.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field)
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, and Power Apps
• Proficiency in NLP and Generative AI applications
• Experience creating analytics solutions for healthcare sectors
• Strong understanding of healthcare-related data

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $51.20 to $56.89 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
