This role offers a unique opportunity to blend your passion for program management with community engagement. You will be instrumental in fostering a vibrant and collaborative environment, connecting with local universities, and organizing impactful events that leave a lasting impression.
As a Program Manager, you will:

  • Spearhead the planning and execution of hackathons and other site-level events, managing logistics, securing resources, and rallying volunteers.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with local universities, acting as a liaison and exploring opportunities for collaboration, including mentorship programs and resume reviews. This may involve occasional travel to university campuses.
  • Support the site’s social committee, contributing to activities that enhance employee engagement and camaraderie.
  • Manage general office tasks, including creating presentations, maintaining spreadsheets, tracking projects, and supporting business management activities.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in corporate event management.
  • 2+ years of experience in project management.
  • 2+ years of experience in onsite office management.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 products (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Ability to be onsite 3-5 days a week in Hillsboro, OR.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience working with universities or educational institutions.
  • A passion for community engagement and building partnerships.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to problem-solving.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $48.91 to $54.35 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
