Pharmacy Technician

Overview

Aquent has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in Frisco, TX!

This is an on-site position.  For this reason, we will only consider candidates who can comfortably commute to our client’s location in Frisco, TX on a daily basis.

In addition, to be considered, you must:

• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment.
• Be able to work on a W-2 basis.  C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this role.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be essential to the prescription fulfillment process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency every step of the way. You will leverage cutting-edge fulfillment systems, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and directly contribute to positive patient outcomes.
 

Responsibilities:

• Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and contacting members and physicians.
• Accurately enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system.
• Investigate and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member concerns.
• Consult with a Pharmacist for guidance on complex prescription processing or interpretation.
• Provide support for inbound and outbound patient or physician calls.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• High School diploma.
• 2-4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by state of operation.
• Basic computer skills.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $23.61 to $26.24 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
