This is a Hybrid position where it is expected to be onsite 3 days a week in Redmond, WA. The position will start as a 9 month engagement but could extend up to 18 months.
Become an integral part of a leading gaming studio, shaping the future of interactive entertainment as a Business Analyst. Your insights will directly influence strategic decisions, impacting player engagement and driving the success of one of the biggest games on the market. Partnering with diverse teams, you’ll transform data into actionable strategies, optimizing the player experience and contributing to the studio’s continued growth.
In this exciting role, you’ll:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the studio (web, launcher, marketing, and more) to develop and enhance impactful Power BI dashboards.
- Create and automate data tables, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in reporting.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses, uncovering key business trends and providing valuable insights.
- Translate data-driven insights into actionable recommendations, influencing strategic decision-making.
- Manage projects end-to-end, from gathering stakeholder requirements to successful implementation.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in data analysis with dashboarding tools (Power BI preferred).
- 8+ years of experience with Python and SQL.
- 5+ years of experience in direct stakeholder engagement.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with Databricks, SparkSQL, PySpark, or Azure Data Explorer.
- Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills.
- UX/UI experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for gaming and experience in the gaming industry.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $54 to $60 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
