Aquent has an exciting opportunity for a Content Designer!
This position is 100% remote within the United States. For this reason, we will only consider candidates who currently live in the United States.
In addition, to be considered for this role, you must:
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
- Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position.
- Be able to showcase your work through case studies and/or portfolio. Samples must include a narrative detailing your UX Writing/Content Design process.

As a Content Designer, you will:
- Develop and implement content strategies aligned with organizational goals and user needs.
- Craft clear, concise, and compelling content that educates, motivates, and empowers users.
- Collaborate with product, design, and research teams to ensure content aligns with user experience principles.
- Conduct user research and analysis to understand user behaviors and inform content creation.
- Ensure content adheres to accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
- Develop content documentation, including copy decks, messaging frameworks, and content models.
- Author content within designated publishing tools.
- Contribute to the evolution of product content style guides.
- Partner with the design system team to provide content guidelines for components and patterns.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a UX Writer or Content Strategist for digital products and services.
- 4+ years of experience working in a large enterprise environment.
- Experience authoring content in content management systems.
- Working knowledge of taxonomy and metadata strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to influence audiences and promote behavior change through content.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally within a large organization.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Proficiency in creating design and content documentation (e.g., annotated wireframes, copy decks, content models).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience in the healthcare industry.
- Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $67.23 to $72.73 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
