You’ll be the architect of database management systems, setting the standards, guidelines, and quality assurance measures for all database deliverables. From conceptual design and capacity planning to security policies and data maintenance, your expertise will ensure data integrity and efficiency across the organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, implement, and manage database management systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and technological advancements.
- Develop and enforce standards, guidelines, and quality assurance processes for all database deliverables.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database designs and processes.
- Evaluate, install, and optimize database management systems to meet evolving business requirements.
- Develop complex programs and design logical processes on various technical platforms.
- Design and develop user interfaces, business application prototypes, and reports.
- Participate in quality assurance processes and develop test application code in a client-server environment.
- Provide expert guidance on database design, including table structures, field definitions, and data relationships.
- Analyze existing data storage mechanisms and determine the optimal storage organization for new data.
- Develop data specifications and table attributes for various applications, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 8 or 9 years of directly relevant work experience.
- One of the following alternatives may be accepted:
- PhD or Law + 6 yrs
- Masters + 7 yrs
- Associates degree + 9 yrs
- High School + 10 yrs.
- PhD or Law + 6 yrs
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $63.60 to $70.67 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
