About the Role:
In this critical role, you will be the driving force behind critical legal and compliance workflows, ensuring the company meets its regulatory obligations while maintaining a seamless user experience. You will leverage your expertise to analyze, develop, and implement effective policies and procedures. Responsibilities:
- Own and manage core legal and compliance operational workflows, setting strategic goals, tracking key performance indicators, and ensuring program health.
- Develop and refine operational processes and systems to enhance efficiency in reporting, risk mitigation, and overall operational maturity.
- Proactively identify and address potential challenges, anticipate roadblocks, and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies, measure progress, and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Negotiate and communicate trade-offs for operational decisions, ensuring alignment with broader team goals and optimizing processes.
- Hold stakeholders accountable for operational readiness while maintaining positive and productive relationships.
- Lead effective communication efforts, including root cause analysis, escalation coordination, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
- Stay informed about the company’s strategic and legal positions, ensuring all outcomes align with the company’s mission and industry best practices.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, or program management, with a focus on legal and compliance.
- 8+ years of experience in project and/or program management.
- Proven ability to think critically and leverage data to anticipate, address, and resolve problems.
- Experience in the legal, public policy, or regulatory space, including operations, audit, control/safeguard management.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Experience collaborating with teams to develop and improve operational systems and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration, coordinate effectively, and inspire others.
- Experience resolving conflicts, identifying trade-offs, and setting clear priorities.
- Proven experience in risk management and prioritization.
- Excellent communication skills.
Compensation:
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $92.09 to $102.33 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
