About Your Role:
In this fast-paced, high-impact role, you’ll be a key player in optimizing the internal tools and processes that keep this tech giant running smoothly. You will conduct rapid, iterative UX research, focusing on incident and outage management systems. Your work will directly inform product decisions, improve efficiency, and enhance the experience of internal users. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced researcher who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to see their work quickly translate into tangible results.
Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute rapid usability tests and concept evaluations for internal product teams.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers to translate research findings into actionable improvements.
  • Conduct contextual inquiries and workflow studies with internal users, especially those involved in incident response and resolution.
  • Analyze and synthesize data efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
  • Advocate for user needs in the development of tools that support operational excellence and incident handling.
  • Independently run weekly research studies, delivering actionable insights, and produce clear, concise reports tailored to executive stakeholders.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in UX research post-graduation.
  • Proven ability to independently run end-to-end rapid research studies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated skill in analyzing research data and producing executive-level written reports.
  • Experience with incident management systems within large organizations.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience conducting fast-turnaround UX research in agile environments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working on internal tools for engineers.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $53.15 to $59.06 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
