Overview

Our advertising agency client is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Proofreader to join their dynamic team for some ad-hoc proof reading support:

This is a remote, ad-hoc role, so hours will vary from week to week

Average hours per week = 10

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and typographical errors. You will be responsible for reviewing a range of written materials including long form content, print collateral, presentations, and some copy editing.

• Collaborate with a leading advertising agency to proofread and copy edit client marketing materials
• Ensure accuracy by correcting errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation and formatting, adhering to style guides including AP, APA, AMA, MLA and Chicago Manual of Style 
• Deliver polished, error-free content for a globally recognized brand, maintaining exceptional attention to detail under tight deadlines
• Agency experience is highly preferred in this role.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $36 to $40 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
