Our Pro Division is seeking an experienced Digital Copywriter to join our growing team and help manage a 30% increase in content demand. You’ll create compelling, conversion-focused short-form copy for web pages, landing pages, and digital event promotions that drive engagement across our B2B platform. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running while we provide training on our brand voice and processes.
Working closely with a team of 3 (1 senior editor, 2 copywriters), you’ll focus exclusively on digital copy that converts, with most pieces being 200 words or less. This is a fast-paced environment where quick turnaround and quality execution are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clear, engaging, and persuasive short-form digital copy for web pages, landing pages, and event promotions
- Create mobile-first copy optimized for UX, SEO, and quick readability
- Develop marketing copy focused on conversion and business results
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and strategic messaging
- Manage high-volume ticket requests efficiently to prevent team overtime
- Occasionally support long-form content requests from other teams (as-needed basis)
- Participate in peer reviews and maintain quality standards across all deliverables
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years minimum of professional digital copywriting experience (5+ years strongly preferred)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in short-form, conversion-focused copy
- Proven experience writing mobile-first web experiences
- B2B copywriting experience with understanding of business audiences
- SEO fundamentals and application to digital content
- Marketing strategy knowledge for creating copy that converts
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to brand guidelines
- Experience in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with retail or construction/home improvement industry
- Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles
- Understanding of digital marketing and event promotion strategies
- Experience with content management systems
