This role offers a unique opportunity to combine your passion for music with your analytical skills. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate alignment of musical work data between internal databases, researching discrepancies, and collaborating with Copyright Administration and Licensing teams to resolve any gaps. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of copyright licensing and contribute to the overall success of music releases.

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify, validate, and input correct musical work alignment between internal databases.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies in musical work data.
  • Request new work registrations from Copyright Administration as needed.
  • Input updates for third-party shares of co-published musical works.
  • Collaborate with Copyright Licensing & Permissions to maintain accurate data in licensing reports.
  • Create internal bulk license schedules for internally published musical works.

Must-Haves:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Previous Music Publishing Experience
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of recording and music publishing industry and label copy practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, focus, and clear communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Air Table (training provided)
  • Familiarity with the client’s music catalog

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $31.50 to $35 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
