This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the narrative of iconic stories and characters. Collaborating closely with merchandisers and graphic designers, you will craft compelling copy for diverse platforms, including web, mobile apps, and print materials. Your creativity will play a crucial role in engaging audiences and driving brand loyalty.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement compelling copy aligned with brand voice guidelines across all platforms.
• Own the copy message for assigned campaigns and initiatives, ensuring consistency and impact.
• Optimize copy for search engines (SEO) and prioritize a mobile-first approach.
• Collaborate with merchandisers and graphic designers to create cohesive brand messaging.
• Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality copy within deadlines.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and audience preferences.
• Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Write authentic copy that resonates with the unique characteristics of each film and character.
• Craft headlines, sub-headlines, and calls to action for various digital and print materials.
• Create engaging social media copy for organic and paid campaigns.
• Write compelling product descriptions that highlight features and benefits in a storytelling manner.
• Seamlessly blend marketing, editorial, and technical information in your writing.
• Partner with the buying team to ensure product descriptions accurately reflect unique qualities.
• Collaborate with creative team members to execute assigned campaigns effectively.
• Partner with buyers to communicate accurate and compelling product information.
• Actively participate in internal partner team meetings and reviews.

Must-Haves:

• Knowledge of creative development and website production processes.
• Familiarity with popular film franchises and characters.
• Familiarity with the client brand, attractions, and history.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SFCC, Jira, and Teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (advertising, writing, media communications) or equivalent work experience.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40.51 to $45.02 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
