Overview

This is a Hybrid, Redmond, WA based engagement that will start at 10 months and could be extended up to 18 months. We are only considering candidates that are currently located within commuting distance.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze player behavior, engagement, and monetization patterns to identify key drivers of acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
• Develop and deploy statistical models and algorithms to forecast future performance, optimize pricing strategies, and personalize player experiences.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to design and implement A/B tests, analyze results, and iterate on features to maximize business outcomes.
• Communicate complex data insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, influencing product roadmaps and strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with user research teams to incorporate qualitative data into your analyses, gaining a holistic understanding of player motivations and preferences.
• Proactively identify and investigate emerging trends in the gaming industry, recommending innovative strategies to capitalize on new opportunities.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in business analytics, with a focus on subscriptions or monetization.
• 8+ years of experience with SQL.
• Proficiency in a statistical programming language such as Python or PySpark.
• Able to work in a collaborative, diverse and fast-paced team.
• Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills and autonomy when faced with solving data problems.
• Excellent verbal, visual and written communication skills.
• Interest in games, bonus if experience in gaming industry.
• Local to Seattle area

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience with SparkSQL, Databricks, or cloud-based analytics service.
• Previous experience in the gaming industry.
• Interest in games.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $70 to $80 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
