Overview

Unleash your creative prowess and make a tangible impact on a beloved toy brand! As a Graphic Designer specializing in packaging, you’ll be immersed in a dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative packaging solutions. Your designs will tell captivating stories, enhance play experiences, and bring joy to children and families worldwide. Partnering with Aquent, you’ll join a team of passionate creatives at a leading toy company for a 3-month rotation, where your artistic vision will shape the way products are presented to the world.

As a key member of the creative team, you will:

• Conceptualize, design, and execute packaging and e-commerce guides that capture the essence of the brand.
• Translate team insights into compelling visual designs that resonate with target audiences.
• Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and product development teams to ensure alignment between brand strategy and design execution.
• Oversee photoshoots, collaborate with illustrators, and manage external design resources to achieve outstanding visual results.
• Present innovative design concepts and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.
• Participate in team meetings, project kick-offs, and approval meetings to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Monitor and adhere to legal, licensing, and regulatory requirements for packaging design.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and delegating assignments to internal and external design resources.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Proven ability to contribute to creative strategy within a cross-functional team environment.
• Solid understanding of production and printing processes.
• Proficiency in planning and producing artwork within established timelines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• A high level of creativity, passion, and integrity.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate design concepts effectively.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic and evolving work environment.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• B.F.A. in Graphic Design or Fine Arts, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in packaging design.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $25.00 to $27.78 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
