Your Impact as a Risk & Governance Analyst
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in streamlining and enhancing operational effectiveness across the enterprise. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze existing workflows, and identify opportunities for improvement. Your expertise in risk management and policy development will be essential in creating a more robust and efficient operational framework. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves, dive into the details, and drive meaningful change.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze existing workflows to pinpoint operational gaps, inefficiencies, and areas ripe for improvement.
  • Inventory current policies, procedures, and operational documentation.
  • Identify risks and areas for standardization, recommending effective solutions.
  • Draft and update Written Supervisory Procedures (WSPs) in compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards.
  • Create user-friendly guides, training materials, and best practices to ensure operational consistency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions to align processes and drive adoption of workflow improvements.
  • Contribute to change management initiatives, influencing teams, building alignment, and supporting implementation strategies.
  • Support operational governance and documentation management projects.
  • Contribute to the development of centralized tools, including a “risk hub” for key documentation and managing requests.

What You Bring to the Table

  • 3-5 years of working experience, including at least 2 years in risk management, project management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations, compliance, or process improvement within a corporate, financial services, or regulatory environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to clearly document complex workflows.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, especially in policy or procedural writing.
  • Experience with change management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while maintaining a strategic focus.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, supervisory procedures, and risk management.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with the ability to work with remote team members.
  • A highly collaborative working style with strong attention to detail.

Compensation

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $63.00 to $70.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
