As a Lead Merchant, you’ll shape the future of women’s apparel in North America, influencing trends and driving consumer demand. As a Lead Merchant, you will be the voice of the North American female consumer, translating her needs into compelling product assortments. You’ll work cross-functionally with global and regional teams, influencing product development and ensuring the right products reach the right customers at the right time. Your insights will drive sales, shape trends, and contribute to the overall success of the brand.
Responsibilities:

  • Champion the North American female consumer, anticipating her needs and influencing global merchandising strategies.
  • Lead seasonal meetings, presenting and collaborating with cross-functional partners.
  • Curate seasonal assortments, making key decisions on pricing, product selection, and market segmentation.
  • Collaborate with planning teams on forecasting and assortment optimization.
  • Manage seasonal merchandising tools and systems, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to avoid product duplication and ensure color consistency across product lines.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
  • 5+ years of experience in Merchandising, Product Management, Marketplace, Buying, or other related retail roles.
  • Strong consumer focus and merchandising acumen.
  • Passion for and knowledge of women’s fashion and trends.
  • Self-starter with strong information-seeking skills and a drive for results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to influence, lead, and negotiate across different teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and seasons.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Keynote, Word, and Excel.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40.20 to $44.67 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
