This role is an exciting opportunity to join a team of passionate researchers dedicated to understanding and improving the user experience. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and developers, using your research expertise to inform critical product decisions. Your work will directly impact the user experience, shaping how people interact with technology and financial services.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive Research Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify research needs, prioritize activities, and develop innovative research approaches.
- Conduct User Research: Design and execute user research studies (both moderated and unmoderated) to evaluate prototypes, understand user needs, and generate insights into user behavior.
- Analyze and Synthesize Findings: Analyze research data, identify key themes and implications, and communicate your findings effectively to diverse audiences.
- Facilitate Collaboration: Lead ideation sessions and collaborative workshops to translate research insights into actionable design solutions.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Information Studies, Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5-9 years of experience in user research.
- Strong understanding of design research theory and practical experience with various research tools.
- 5-9 years of experience applying a variety of design research methodologies.
- 5-9 years of experience working effectively on cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- MA/MS degree or certification in a related field.
- Familiarity with design thinking principles.
- Experience working within a large organization and an agile environment.
- Experience contributing to the launch of digital products or services.
