We are seeking a skilled CRM Developer with a strong background in building and deploying
sophisticated email, push, in-app, and SMS campaigns within Iterable. This 6-month contract role is ideal
for a candidate experience building programs that utilize personalization and automation and someone
who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
 Work with strategy and creative teams to intake new campaign requests and ensure asset delivery
meets agreed upon standards.
 Creates and launches campaigns for email, push, and SMS.
 Can be available for on-call support during high-risk periods and campaign launches.
 Review and monitor launches and perform on-request research and troubleshooting.
 Develop and implement message templates integrating dynamic logic, conditional content, and data-
driven personalization.
 Build and maintain complex, event-driven workflows in Iterable, ensuring correct event triggers,
audience segmentation, logic, and action sequencing.
 Partner with appropriate teams to develop and manage API integrations between Iterable and other
platforms (e.g., AppsFlyer, Algonomy, Movable Ink) to support personalized, real-time messaging.
 Ingest and transform data feeds (e.g., JSON, CSV) into Iterable for use in campaigns, utilizing
metadata, catalog data, and user profile attributes.
 Implement modular, reusable code components for use across campaigns (e.g., dynamic headers,
footers, content blocks)
 Properly test up and QA test scenarios
 Diagnose and resolve rendering issues, data mapping inconsistencies, and logic errors using browser
dev tools, logs, and Iterable debugging utilities.
 Work with SDKs and event tracking frameworks to ensure correct data capture and trigger logic for
transactional and lifecycle messaging.
 Monitor system performance and message deliverability; work with platform tools and logs to identify
and resolve bottlenecks or data sync issues.
 Maintain version control for campaign templates and logic

Job Skills and Abilities:

 Strong knowledge of modern front-end development frameworks and practices
 Familiarity with some backend systems like SSL key management, API integrations, ETL processes,
basic SQL, and NoSQL database skills
 2+ years of experience building email, push and SMS campaigns within Iterable, with demonstrable
expertise in setting up dynamic and personalized content.

Developer, Marketing DevOps
 Hands-on experience with platforms including (but not limited to): Movable Ink, Algonomy, AppsFlyer,
and other Martech solutions.
 Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS for email, with an understanding of mobile-responsive design
principles.
 Experience configuring and deploying event-based and triggered messaging workflows.
 Familiarity with liquid templating languages, AMPscript, or similar dynamic scripting tools.
 Comfort with interpreting customer journey data and using it to inform content logic and targeting.
 Experience working with data feeds, APIs, and integrating 3rd-party personalization tools.
 Familiarity with mobile SDKs and event instrumentation related to AppsFlyer or similar platforms.
 Strong QA mindset and attention to detail; ability to troubleshoot across different devices and
inboxes.
 Basic understanding of reporting tools and their meaning in relation to marketing metrics
 Ability to troubleshoot each project to identify and find innovative solutions to remedy potential issues.
 Work closely with principal and senior developers to completion.
 Proven motivation and ability to work independently with little supervision.
 Strong attention to detail
 Willingness to work flexible schedules to meet deadlines.
 Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and prioritize well.
 Demonstrated initiative and innovation utilizing an initiative-taking, collaborative approach.

 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $85-90/hr Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
