Aquent has an EXCITING opportunity for a Conversational Designer!
This position is 100% remote, however we will only consider canddiates who currently live in the United States.
In addition, to be considered for this opportunity, you must:
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment. C2C is not permitted for this role.
- Be able to showcase your work through case studies and/or portfolio.
Make a real impact as a UX Designer improving the user experience for a Fortune 100 healthcare company, partnering with Aquent. You will be instrumental in shaping how users interact with critical services, focusing on enhancing the intuitive design of their Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and chat systems. This is an opportunity to create a seamless and user-friendly experience for those accessing vital healthcare information and services.
As a UX Designer, you’ll be deeply involved in creating more intuitive and user-friendly IVR and chat experiences. You will lead co-design workshops with stakeholders, define conversation design documentation, and establish best practices for voice and tone, reading levels, and accessibility. Your work will directly impact how users access crucial healthcare services.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with business and engineering teams to plan, research, and facilitate user experience (UX) processes, including design thinking and human-centered design activities.
- Design and improve the interactive voice response (IVR) and chat dialog.
- Organize and facilitate co-design workshops with stakeholders.
- Define the approach for documenting conversation designs for stakeholders and development teams.
- Identify standard practices for conversation design, including voice and tone, reading comprehension levels, and accessibility affordances in the IVR and chat.
- Design and document information architecture, mapping internal terminology to customer utterances.
Must-Haves:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and 2 – 4 years of related experience.
- Equivalent experience acquired through applicable knowledge, duties, scope, and skill reflective of the level of this position will also be considered.
- Experience with UX/UI design tools such as Figma and Visio.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Proven experience designing and optimizing IVR and chat systems.
- Strong understanding of conversation design principles and best practices.
- Experience facilitating workshops and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $54.70 to $60.78 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
